Warchief Kargath Bladefist
Warchief Kargath Bladefist is the master of the fel orcs and former Chieftain of the Shattered Hand Clan. He earned the sobriquet "Bladefist" after he cut off his own hand when he reached the station of grunt, replacing it with a deadly scythe, The Bladefist. He quickly rose to the station of Chieftain of the Shattered Hand and proclaimed himself Warchief of the Fel Horde.
Strategy
Kargath's only ability for this fight is Blade Dance, which will occur every 30 seconds after engaging him. Kargath does not hit hard, but he hits fast. His base weapon damage (on cloth) is around 900-1000, and he'll probably deal approximately 600 per hit on a tank. During the fight, Kargath will call in reinforcements from the south side of the encounter area. Be warned though, that there will be four assassins in stealth waiting to jump you if you move too far off Kargath's platform.
The general strategy for defeating this encounter requires that a suitable "offtank" be selected for add management. A wide range of classes can manage the adds here, due to the fact that they don't do much damage. A demonology warlock, for example, can easily knock out the adds with the aid of a felguard to keep the adds at range. A skilled rogue can manage the adds with little need for aid as well. Find what works best for your group.
Positioning for the fight requires the ranged DPS be spread out, preferably into a corner to take as little damage during a blade dance as possible. The tank should keep Kargath right in the middle of the floor for the duration of the fight. This encounter requires as much DPS as possible, as the healer's mana will be very stressed due to the damage dealt by Kargath during Blade Dance.
Tip: Amplify Magic works very well during this encounter, as no magic damage is dealt from any source, and healer mana will be spread very thin. Mages should definitely make use of it during this fight.
