General Abilities
- Decipher - used for understanding books, tomes and scrolls
- Glyph Mastery - gives the inscriber an extra glyph of unknown type.
- Milling - "disenchants" herbs into pomace.
- Runic Blast - deal arcane damage, using up ink to do so.

Runewords
Runewords are temporary enchantments applies to various equipment slots. (Not strictly weapons.)
Runeword of Minor Magic - Adds 3 spell damage to a chest piece for an hour. Requires 1 Dreamfoil
Scrolls
Scrolls of various stats are made with the following inks:
- Intellect - Silver Ink
- Spirit - Ivory Ink
- Stamina - Earthen Ink
Other Items
- Carrot on a Stick - increases a mount's speed by 3% permanently. Requires thread and 1 Golden Sansam
- Mysterious Tarot - creates a random card for the Rogues Deck. Requires 2 Moonglow Ink
- Scroll of Recall - teleports you as your hearthstone would. Requires 1 Moonglow Ink
Component Items
Pomaces
Pomaces can be milled from the following herbs:
- Alabaster Pomace - Peacebloom, Silverleaf, Earthroot, Mageroyal
- Dusky Pomace - Briarthorn, Swiftthistle, Bruiseweed, Stranglekelp, Mageroyal
- Golden Pomace - Fadeleaf, Khadgar's Whisker, Kingsblood, Liferoot, Wild Steelbloom
- Emerald Pomace - Goldthorn, Khadgar's Whisker, Fadeleaf
Additionally, the skill level for milling all herbs is one of 25, 75, 125, 175, 225, 275 (Outland), or 325 (Northrend).
